All students have personalised learning plans (PLPs) and all adjustments are determined in negotiation with parents and carers and other key stakeholders. NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabus documents and the Australian Curriculum lead all outcome based learning. Teachers create stimulating lessons to suit the age and developmental abilities of each student. There is a strong emphasis on capturing student interest and tapping into each student’s strength and motivation for maximum engagement.
